First Boo Boo

So I'm not sure if this really counts because he didn't seem to notice but it was the first time we've had the need for a bandaid.  Charlie was playing with a paper and just got a little papercut on his foot.  Not a big deal but it bled enough that Dad thought he needed a bandaid.  While he didn't seem to feel the pain, he did seem pleased with all the special attention he got from us :)  Of course we got a picture:

First Steps!

Today, Charlie took his first steps.  He has been really close for weeks now but he finally took the plunge today walking over to me for one of his toys.   I didn't get a video of the exact first steps but we've taken several since then.  Once I get them downloaded, I'll post a few.  In the meantime, here is a picture of him on the move...

4 New Teeth!

I guess we understand why he was a little grumpy last week... 4 teeth popped in this week in a matter of just two days!  Poor little guy.  The picture below is of course more current then the week they popped in but you can get a good look at them...

One-year Stats!

We had Charlie's official one-year appointment today and his stats are are follows:

Weight - 20.2lbs (25th percentile)
Height - 30" (75th percentile)
Head - 18.5" (75th percentile)

Still tall and skinny but those brains grew a little these past few months :)

Poor guy also had several shots this visit.  After whimpering a little for the first one, he took the other three like a champ.
