One night Charlie noted that his teeth hurt and I excitedly looked into his mouth to see if we had our first loose teeth! To my surprise not only was one of his bottom front teeth loose, but two huge adult teeth were about halfway grown in behind them. We went to the dentist and they let us know, post x-ray, that one would probably wiggle out but the other would need to be pulled. So we set an appointment for several weeks later and in the meantime the first one came out... and went down the sink.

So then we went for our appointment to get the second one pulled. Charlie was so very brave and cool about the whole thing. They gave him a little gas and pulled that sucker out pretty quickly. He didn't even flinch. And we walked out this time with a souvenir...
