The dog days of summer are upon us.  It has been hot, hot, hot but we've still gotten out plenty and had fun.  Below are some pictures from the month.

We spent a few days in Duck this week with some friends who rented a beach house for the week there.  I didn't take many pictures unfortunately but snapped a few at the pool and the beach and maybe one of my favorites of my two guys.

Birthday with the Lanes

Since Charlie's birthday fell when we were at this beach this year, the Lanes came up the weekend we got home to celebrate his birthday too!  Papa, Nana, Great Grandma, Allison, Phil and Isabella all made the trip up.  We had a great BBQ lunch, opened some presents (thanks everyone!) and indulged in cupcakes.  Below are some pictures...
