Meeting Big Brother
Grandma and Grandpa brought Charlie to the hospital to meet his baby sister around lunchtime the day she arrived. He was really excited to meet her and ended up coming to the hospital every day to see us. He is a little cautious about holding her... eager to do it but then freaks out a little when she squirms or cries. He is super gentle with her though and takes his job as "hand-wash police" very seriously, telling everyone to wash their hands before handling her :) He is going to be the best big brother!
I love this picture James took on his phone when Charlie first saw her in the nursery
She met Grandma and Grandpa too!
Charlie loves the closet in the room :)
Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
The big day finally arrived! After months of anticipation and worry over our little peanut being too little, we made it to our due date which is when the doctor recommended having a c-section to let her out. James and I headed to the hospital bright and early at 5AM and she arrived at 7:22 AM, weighing 6lb 11oz (not so tiny afterall!) and was 19 inches long. We had decided earlier in the week that we'd name her Kerrington but were still undecided on her middle name, wanting to name her after two of our grandmas. We ended up a few days later landing on Kerrington Emma Bosworth Lane! Here are some pictures of her arrival...
Lookin good Daddio
Kinda gross but our first view of her

Not sure she wants a hug from her cousin :)
Learning his Rock God snarl
Dad bought some new cleats, ball and shinguards to start soccer in a few weeks. To say he was excited is an understatement.
