Kerrington's Homecoming

After four days in the hospital, we were excited to bring our baby girl home!  Grandma, Grandpa and Charlie gave us a nice homecoming complete with a welcome home sign.  It was really nice to finally have the comforts of home!

Ready to break out of here!

All strapped in and ready to go

Here we are!

Couldn't get Charlie to look at the camera

More Fun at the Hospital

In our three days at the hospital we had lots of fun getting to know each other and visiting with some family!

Meeting Big Brother

Grandma and Grandpa brought Charlie to the hospital to meet his baby sister around lunchtime the day she arrived.  He was really excited to meet her and ended up coming to the hospital every day to see us.   He is a little cautious about holding her... eager to do it but then freaks out a little when she squirms or cries.  He is super gentle with her though and takes his job as "hand-wash police" very seriously, telling everyone to wash their hands before handling her :)  He is going to be the best big brother!

I love this picture James took on his phone when Charlie first saw her in the nursery

She met Grandma and Grandpa too!

Charlie loves the closet in the room :)

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

The big day finally arrived!  After months of anticipation and worry over our little peanut being too little, we made it to our due date which is when the doctor recommended having a c-section to let her out.  James and I headed to the hospital bright and early at 5AM and she arrived at 7:22 AM, weighing 6lb 11oz (not so tiny afterall!) and was 19 inches long.  We had decided earlier in the week that we'd name her Kerrington but were still undecided on her middle name, wanting to name her after two of our grandmas.  We ended up a few days later landing on Kerrington Emma Bosworth Lane!  Here are some pictures of her arrival...

Lookin good Daddio

Kinda gross but our first view of her

Finally some snow!

Charlie's first real snow since he was an infant finally came this week!  We had a fun day off school and work Wednesday as it fell sideways all day long.  It was too windy and cold to play then but on Thursday the guys had fun outside building a real snowman!
