Cooking in the Kitchen

Charlie's little kitchen has been buried in the playroom but we moved it to a more prominent place in the real kitchen so we can all cook together.   And while it produces some messes, we are having fun cooking together!

Pullen Park for Nana's Birthday

We went to Pullen Park in Raleigh for the first time this weekend to celebrate Nana's birthday with the Lanes.  It was a hot day but so much fun!  Great park and great company... happy birthday Nana!

Charlie had another great season of soccer at the Y this Spring.  He even scored his first goal!  It was a cool moment... he found himself with the ball and an open field and just went for it.  The whole family was at the game to see it and he was so proud.

Meet Nerrington!

Charlie has taken an interest in Kerrington's baby doll (who she doesn't care much about).  He named her Nerrington and is a good daddy feeding her milk and tucking her into bed.  At night she even sleeps in the bassinet in him room.  Too sweet :)

Getting the Garden Ready

We love our garden!  This year we planted tomatoes, squash, watermelon, peppers, peas, green beans, brussels and our normal strawberries. Baby K is even getting into the action!

K's Baptism

We had a beautiful day for Kerrington's baptism.  Both sets of grandparents came up along with Uncle Todd.  She was baptized at the same church as Charlie and was also the oldest of the bunch... in other words, the squirmiest of the bunch too.  After Charlie wore the Lane family baptism dress, Kerrington wore the Wulf family dress that Aunt Katie, Grandma Grover and all of Gigi's brothers and sister wore... so she is a 4th generation wearer!  It was a lovely ceremony followed by a nice dinner celebration at the house.
