Swinging a Bat

We took Charlie's new baseball tee out to the park to try it out for real after his nap.  He has been a little confused with baseball and gold now for awhile.  Calling everything bat/club-shaped a "Bat" and swinging at balls on the ground which he calls "ga-balls" (any kind of ball will work).  He still was calling the baseballs "ga-balls" when we were done but he really liked swing up high on the tee too.

Here we come terrible terrific twos!  Today we celebrated Charlie's second birthday with some special guests and way to many gifts.  He is one lucky little boy... but deserving with all the love and sweetness he give to us every day.  His party theme was basketball (upon request amongst the options at Party City) and James even moved his big basketball hoop up from the basement so we could have a full court.  Happy Birthday Charlie!

Mama's Boy

Ever since we've been back from the beach Charlie has been a mama's boy more than ever... wanting to be help and give (and get) smooches all the time.  I've got to say that it is the best ever!  I hope this never stops :)
