Easter 2015

We had a great Easter!  It was a beautiful weekend and the kids were excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought them in their baskets and in the eggs out in the yard...

K loved the little chick

The bunny brought Banana-grams!

Making Easter waffles!

Heading out to egg hunt

Combining all the loot into one big bowl to share

The bunny also brought some Legos

Later, we joined the Rowlands at Maymont for the Easter annual festival.  The egg hunt was a bust but we had a fun time playing with our friends regardless!

Going to check out the "schoo bu"

Great friends! (Except maybe K who appears to be pulling Nia's hair)

Mine waiting in line for the egg hunt.  Monkey see, monkey do

Waiting in line for a teeball game K INSISTED on playing.  Love it when she clings to him like this. Such love.

K rocking the tee ball game

Her little legs were tired on the way out and good thing so she could get this nice view of the beautiful blooming trees

More March Fun

March has been fun as the kitchen is getting closer and closer to being finished.  The weather has been nice like every other week so we are getting out more but are still also having fun playing inside with Kerrington's near birthday loot.  Here are a few shots from this month...

Going shopping w/ baby and sunglasses

We did Charlie's NFL USA puzzle then put all the little football men on their states

Taking advantage of some still empty cabinets

Shirts-off Spaghetti Night!

Marley made a new friend!

A few week trend... putting on a bib to use the potty before bathtime.  She has been peeing in the potty before bath for several weeks now.  Recently she discovered a bib in the closet and insists on putting it on before sitting down.  Then she promptly returns it to the closet before getting in the tub :)

A sleepover w/ Nia!

And making morning waffles!

Daddy's shoes!

Charlie's most prized possession (from Christmas) is Rush Zone.  He has used all of the little paper scorecards that came in the game so he is now going through and erasing them so he can play more games.  Love this kid!

Fancy girl getting her diaper changed!

Daddy ran the Monument Ave 10K on a FREEZING March day (hence the picture in the car vs. at the finish line)

Peek-a-boo!

Just like Charlie: She was so excited to put these little puzzle people on a little football field.  She watches Charlie play with football fields all the time.  So sweet.  Of course the tutu and sunglasses make it extra sweet.

Since Charlie's Rush Zone game has gotten such good use (see above), we pulled out a second NFL game we bought at Christmas but never game him.  It is a little more advanced but he is totally ready for it and it quickly became a new hit!

K and I were watching Frozen.  Despite "really not liking it," he snook a few peeks.  Tough guy ;)

Playing again the next day at baby nap time.
