When we bought out house a year and a half ago, there was a nice little fruit tree orchard all along the side. We were really excited to see it grow fruit each year but much to our disappointment year one, we had nothing and subsequently multiple trees died. This year however (with the same lack of TLC) we had three pear trees make tons of pears! We don't really like pears but it has been fun making pear sauce and having Ericka find all sorts of fun things to do with them (pear stuffing was the best). We had fun picking them too...
